Lending

Loan application

After finding a Real Estate Agent that will help you navigate through the home buying process, your next step is to qualify for a mortgage or loan.

Which mortgage is right for you?

There are a number of different types of home loans available to you, and it can pay to familiarize yourself with them. Luckily we’re here to help you choose the best type of home loan for your needs.

Whether you’re ready to purchase, looking to refinance, get a Home Equity Line of Credit, or are a First Time Home Buyer wanting to learn the process and know what is available to you, we can help. We specialize in finding the best home loans for you by pricing out multiple lenders for the most competitive rates.

Conventional fixed rate (FRM)

The most common type of loan option. Monthly principal and interest payments never change during the loan’s lifetime.

Adjustable rate (ARM)

Interest can shift during the term with market conditions. Typically starts with a fixed-rate period before the adjustment window.

FHA loans

Insured by the Federal Housing Administration. Built for borrowers who want competitive rates with a smaller down payment.

VA loans

Guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Competitive rates and, for eligible veterans, often no down payment.

Jumbo loans

Used when the property price sits above conforming loan limits.

Interest-only loans

Payments go to interest for a set period rather than principal, then the structure changes.

Down payment assistance

Grants or low-interest help that can reduce what you need to bring to closing, when you qualify.

USDA loans

Rural and some suburban purchases with little or no down payment where the property and borrower qualify.

Reverse mortgages

Typically available to homeowners 62 or older to convert a portion of equity to cash without selling the home.

HELOC

A revolving line of credit secured by the equity in a home you already own.
